Bernard Tanui

Bernard Korir Tanui is the Managing Director and founder of BET Group Global, a pioneering real estate development company specializing in accessible housing for people with disabilities in Australia. With a degree in Construction and Economics, Bernard has combined his professional skills with his personal experiences to address significant gaps in the housing market.

Bernard’s journey as a disability advocate began under tragic circumstances. When his wife Emily suffered a stroke, Bernard faced the challenge of finding accessible housing to facilitate her discharge from rehabilitation. Their struggles revealed a critical need for purpose-built accommodation for individuals with disabilities. Together, Bernard and Emily founded BET Group, transforming their personal tragedy into a mission to make housing more inclusive.
